Best Practices for Social Media Management

Wildfire recently published its report on “How Social Media Builds Your Brand: 7 Strategies to Keep your Customers Coming Back for More”. Below are a few recommendations, but if you’d like the full report, email me.

  1. Make sure your message is easy to interact with.  Yes or no questions provide followers a chance to respond without having to say too much.
  2. According to Facebook, “Best Practices for your Page and Media Strategy”: Photos or video media are incredibly engaging when attached to messaging updates. In just the first 100 days of the network, over 3.4 billion photos had already been shared on Google+. On Facebook, posts including a photo album, a picture or a video generate about 180%, 120%, and 100% more engagement than the average text post, respectively.
  3. Tell users what you want from them.  (Ex. Click LIKE if you agree)
