BACKGROUND

Dräger, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology, has been protecting, supporting and saving lives since 1889. The Dräger Group is currently present in more than 190 countries and has more than 14,000 employees worldwide. Each year, Dräger attends and exhibits at a myriad of trade shows across the globe.

CLIENT OBJECTIVE

Dräger exhibits at some of the largest trade shows in the world like the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), Gastech, Water Environmental Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), The Association of The United States Army (AUSA) and more. These shows attract attendees from all over the world that include industry leaders, customers, influential decision-makers and journalists.

With members of the press in attendance at trade shows, companies have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with journalists, secure media coverage and interviews, and ultimately enhance their brand awareness and credibility. In April 2018, Dräger engaged Paige PR to develop a strong media relations strategy for their upcoming U.S. trade shows to do just that.

The strategy would need to be applicable to each of Dräger’s various industry segments including oil and gas, water treatment, fire services, federal government/military, mining and law enforcement.
