INNOVATIVE TRADE SHOW STRATEGY BOOSTS ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORTS COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

Our client’s social statistics significantly increased across the board, some as much as 1,436% as compared to the previous month.

BACKGROUND

Every year, our client has a strong presence at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), one of the largest energy conferences in the world. It attracts the biggest heavy hitters in the industry and the most influential decision makers year after year. In 2018, OTC celebrated its 50th anniversary and welcomed more than 70,000 energy professionals from over 100 countries to visit the 500,000 square foot exhibition space at Houston’s NRG Park.

CLIENT OBJECTIVE

The client engaged Paige PR to develop a unique event activation that would resonate with the OTC audience, both in person and through social media. The goal of this campaign was four-fold:

  1. To promote the fact that our client is a Community Partner with the Houston Astros
  2. To promote the client’s community initiative to support Houston fire fighters
  3. To increase foot traffic to the client’s OTC booth
  4. To increase engagement through social media both for internal and external audiences
