ENERGY TRANSITION NONPROFIT CAPITALIZES ON CERAWEEK TO CONNECT MEMBERS WITH THE MEDIA
PR Push Provides Media with Exclusive Interview and Facility Tour Opportunities
BACKGROUND
The Greater Houston Partnership’s Houston Energy Transition Initiative (HETI) works alongside and on behalf of its members to strengthen Houston’s position as the Energy Capital of the World through the energy transition. Its members range from Super Majors to startups all working toward accelerating sustainable solutions for an energy-abundant, low-carbon future.
CLIENT OBJECTIVE
CERAWeek is the premier global energy conference that brings together global leaders to advance new ideas, insight and solutions to the biggest challenges facing the future of energy, the environment and climate. In preparation for showcasing at the conference, HETI contacted Paige PR to support its public relations efforts for the organization and its members. The goals were three-fold:
- Increase traffic to the HETI House at the event, ensuring fireside chats and a press conference be well attended by media and attendees.
- Distribute a media advisory and amplify the news from a press release announcing a major partnership between HETI and Argonne National Laboratory.
- Build relationships with the media and HETI/its members by offering on-site interviews with leadership as well as off-site opportunities for the media to do facility tours.
