BACKGROUND

Tony Sanchez, an oil and gas industry veteran, reached out to Paige PR for support in the launch of its company, OneNexus, and its revolutionary product, OneNexus Well Secure™. The company aims to prevent the accumulation of new orphaned wells, ensuring that future generations are not left with the financial burden of decommissioning obligations. While the benefits of OneNexus’ product offering are many, the primary challenge the company had was educating the industry on its new product and opportunity to financially prepare for a well’s end-of-life. Tony hoped that with impactful PR efforts, Paige PR could create a bigger awareness of OneNexus and its product, across the United States.

CLIENT OBJECTIVE

For several months, Paige PR and OneNexus teams collaborated to craft a clear and concise story that highlighted the oil and gas industry’s age-old problem of abandoned wells and how it could address the issue so that going forward, there were no new orphaned wells. Paige PR devised a multi-pronged PR strategy, which included outreach to top tier journalists and outlets, podcast and speaking opportunities, combined with a targeted mail and social media campaign. In addition to targeting energy reporters, Paige PR also identified those reporters focusing on sustainability and the energy transition.
