Why every small business needs a communication consultant

June 18, 2013

I like agencies. Some of my clients are agencies. But not every small business can afford one. Here are three quick reasons how a communication consultant can help your business thrive.

  1. Flexibility: Most consultants are overflowing with expertise, having served in the corporate world previously, and can tailor a solution specific to its clients needs, budget and timeline.  The benefit to the client is quicker response times, superior customer service (we’re small businesses too!), and maintaining a level of support without spending an arm and a leg.
  2. Expertise: Most consultants value what you do, and want to continue to grow with you.  For this reason, consultants like myself, are ready to commit to clients, and dive right in to better understand its clients’ business in its entirety.  We’re basically a full-time employee without the client having to pay a full-time salary.
  3. Value-based support: Paige PR provides its clients value.  Because I’m not tied into a company, I provide my clients’ the best support possible, and recommend other freelance consultants that can also provide my clients’ value.  What vendors do you work with that are willing to give away business if they’re not the best?
